Embedded Software Tester
This role supports high-performance RF antenna systems by embedding testing into the V-model lifecycle, complementing developers in infotainment projects—emphasizing automation and defect prevention over pure coding, with C# enabling efficient tooling for automotive-grade reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed test concepts and specifications derived from software/system requirements, covering unit-level verification and integration testing across modules like tuners or antenna ECUs.
- Daily tasks include developing and running software unit tests (e.g., for C/C++ firmware components) and integration tests (e.g., validating RF signal processing with communication stacks), alongside defect analysis to root-cause issues in real-time embedded environments.
- Test automation will streamline repetitive checks using C# for scripting frameworks, tools like xUnit/NUnit, or custom harnesses, while manual analysis ensures coverage of edge cases in ASPICE-compliant processes.
Requirements:
- Experience in test automation
- Defect analysis
- Good knowledge of the C# programming language
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
