Hiring for an onsite Engagement Leader – Banking and Financial Services (BFS) Practice in the UK, for a Global Systems Integration and Digital Solutions major

Role details:
- Title / Designation: Onsite Engagement Leader – BFS, UK
- Role position: Senior Director
- Role type: Individual contributor (to start with)
- Reporting Manager: AVP and Head – BFS Delivery
- Location: London, United Kingdom
Role & responsibilities:
- Engage with existing and new clients in the geography, to deliver strategic solutions in the BFS domain.
- Participate in consulting / business development activities (like workshops, seminars, etc.), to increase BFS footprint across the region
- Contribute to BFS solutions efforts (RFX responses, new proposals to clients on cross-sell and upsell opportunities, positioning of point solutions / value-adds / solutions accelerators, POCs and the like, covering core solutions, automation and innovation)
- Lead solutions articulation and presentation to client stakeholders
- Oversee BFS solutions delivery and lead related problem-solving and team mentoring
- Ensure adherence to program / project health parameters (including scope, schedule, budget, risks, financials, stakeholder communications & reporting, governance)
- Initiate, process and close feedback loops – with client, senior team members, contractors, account and sales teams and other key stakeholders
- Meet or exceed key result areas relating to annual revenues, margins, new logos, repeat business, client satisfaction ratings and allied metrics
- As required, travel on business, to client sites in the UK and Europe
- As accounts grow, hire Engagement Managers, on needs basis
Candidate requirements:
- Strong technical experience of 15-20 years, with the bulk of it in BFS, with expertise to consult, solution for and deliver on largescale core banking transformation, core banking systems / bank front office or back-office applications / digital technologies / FinTechs – with large BFS institutions
- Deep expertise in strategic solution needs for the BFS domain in UK and Europe: latest use cases vs. tools vs. business needs
- Should have been leading a portfolio of $ 10 million or above in annual revenues (with headcount of about 200+ in UK and offshore), over the latest 3+ years
- Engineering degree
- MBA – preferable
- Capability to assess scope and estimate (effort, schedule and cost) for complex programs / projects
- Capability to work in onsite-offshore / remote working model
