Job Description:

1.) Specific Responsibilities:

a.)Department Related:

To meet management Quality, Cost, Delivery and ARGUS objectives.
To maintain uniform workflow as per SAP- work load foreman.
To ensure that all shop floor employees follow technical and organizational guidelines.
To ensure optimum utilization of resources i.e., man, material and machine etc.
To increase PEFFI of the processes.
To monitor and control overall cost of Tools, spares, and consumables.
To report deviations in all aspects to management.
To give inputs to management for system and plant performance improvements.
SPC Data analysis and evaluation as per management requirements.
Training & Development and Appraisal Related:
To identify training needs of subordinates and ensure the compliance.
To identify and develop employee's competency of multiskilling.
To ensure employees competency as per GB-IQ.
To conduct performance appraisals and progress reports of his subordinates.
Coordination:
To coordinate with interface depts viz M-IB, Z-BT, S-PUP, S-LP, P-S1, P-S2, S-PQ, P-TF to maintain smooth workflow.
To do and coordinate management tasks/ projects with interface depts/ employees.
To coordinate with HR for conducting various training programmes and make the manpower available for trainings.
To communicate & implement management instructions/ guidelines to dept. employees.
To coordinate and review production dept. meetings and give inputs to management for improvements.

2.) General Responsibilities:

a.) Administration (Man Management):

Manpower allocations, shift planning, leave management and leave approvals of his subordinates.
Grievance handling.
To report misconducts/ slow down/ abnormal wastage/ incidents with data to management.

To Supervise & Control safety parameters on shop floor and suggest for further improvements.

To ensure disposals as per company guidelines.
