Mission:
Responsible of Multiple domestic programs technical deliverables, cost and planning for all design related tasks on a major projects. With Urge to expand India business.
Position in the Structure:
The employment reports hierarchically on the India R&D Director.
Level: Deputy Director
DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS -
Having 18 years strong experience of Cockpit Electronics products - Infotainment (is MUST), Cluster, Displays in terms of complete product development cycle.

Coordinate with Domain teams like SW, HW Electronics, System, Mechanical, System Validation, certification, product qualification teams actions to achieve technical and project targets (technical features, performances, schedule, costs)

Experience to manage India domestic customers and specification

Strong working experience with Tata, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki is preferred
-
Experience to negotiate with customers for requirements and timeline
-
Experience to have strong Cockpit & IVI software design & development (around 15 years+)
-
Experience to drive development team comprises of Systems, Software, HW, System Validation COE’s to achieve customer deliver timelines
-
Experience to manage Acquisition, development and Launch phase
-
Experience to build engineering cost and to manage ECNs
-
Experience to propose alternate solutions for Cockpit features to optimize the software & HW development cost
-
Experience to manage program management system (PMS – ProMISE), active participation in EFM and GATE review.

Experience to prepare and track all KPIS for quality, cost and Delivery (Dashboard of each Programs)
-
Coordinate with Domestic and Global counterparts for Product development and deliverables.

Strong co-ordination with program management & sales team

Provide necessary timing inputs to R&D Director & PM for global/ domestic planning definition.

Well versed in communication and handling of team (people management).

Provide up to date technical project KPI including requirements implementation progress, tests achievement, defects summary.

Bring technical expertise in various domain

Act as main technical entry point for all technical questions coming from stakeholders including customers, subcontractors.

Take decisions regarding technical proposal, in collaboration with COE leaders, Technical Specialist, and project managers.

Define the priority working axes in collaborations in collaboration with COE leaders and project managers.
-
Estimation of needs and availabilities for human resources in accordance with COE leaders
-

Profile:

18+ years minimum of experience with major
-
Car makers
-
Experience in Projects until SOP – Taken at least 4 major programs into production
-
15-17 years’ experience in Engineering team management in multisite automotive environment.

Fluent in English.

B.E/M.Tech In Electronics is MUST

Experience with ASPICE and Agile Methodologies and development tools
