Our client, an international company activating in the manufacturing sector, is currently looking for an Engineering Manager.
Engineering Manager
The Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in managing the successful execution of projects and driving innovation in the technical department.
Location: Turda
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, on time, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and automation within the engineering department.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, fostering a collaborative environment and facilitating successful project outcomes.
- Maintain a deep understanding of manufacturing and engineering principles, industry best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to our field.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, assisting in complex problem-solving and decision-making processes.
- Stay abreast of advancements in engineering methodologies and tools, and promote their adoption within the team.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Your profile:
- Educational background - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical background in the relevant engineering discipline, with a track record of delivering complex projects
- Experience with ceramics manufacturing processes is mandatory.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Professional experience in a manufacturing environment that involves ceramics processing phases.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement engineering best practices.
