We process images and videos at scale and in real-time to solve retail supply-chain problems and make an environmentally sustainable net-positive impact on the world. Our B2B enterprise SaaS products are used by global customers such as P&G, Lowe’s, Samsung. We are about 4.5 years old in our journey of building B2B enterprise products. About the position:

We are looking for a young colleague with an entrepreneurial mindset (preferably experience with a startup, about 6 to 10 years of experience in building scalable frontend and backend applications, having worked with a team of at least 10 engineers) to help us build scalable React & Django-driven backend applications.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of 4 to 6 engineering leads towards product development
• Interfacing with the AI/DevOps team to develop end-to-end APIs, systems, and architectures.
• Building and maintaining scalable architecture to support thousands of simultaneous requests from multiple devices and platforms.
• Building, communicating, and executing robust development, review, documentation, and product engineering processes
• Working with the product team to execute agile development sprints

Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience with React & Python application development
• Ability to coordinate across different products, engineering tasks, and implementing the modules along with scalability, security, extensibility in mind.
• Well versed in Django-Python stack with backend tools such as Celery, Kubernetes etc.
• Should possess strong programming skills to write algorithms and understanding of agile development, CI/CD, sprints, code reviews

Eligibility:

• Having a prior experience with a startup or with a product-based company is a plus
• Must be a hands-on engineering leader as this role involves rearchitecting and reimplementing systems working alongside the engineers.
