Our client is a start-up (now acquired by a large FS company) that aims to simplify stock market investing for retail investors by supporting them via advisory services through an app. They provide customers with an actively managed portfolio with an index beating returns at pocket-friendly and flat pricing. The business works on a subscription model.

Desired Candidate profile:

Working on financial products either from end-user or a consulting company

Responsibilities

1. Building processes and implementing the best practices and coding standards, leading a team of developers for successful delivery of the project.

2. Supervising the development of the design, architecture and roadmap for our app, webapp, website, sdk and backend systems.

3. You will also oversee technical integrations to support our sales, marketing, compliance, and customer support systems.

Requirements:

Experience: 9 to 11 years in Technical development with 5+ years in providing technical leadership for high performance teams. You are a full stack architect with 2-3 experience in mobile app development (Android and iOS). Your knowledge of Flutter though not a must-have, would be a bonus!!

Proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommend appropriate solutions.

A strong business sense and ability to challenge and partner with product managers and business stakeholders.

Excellent communication and analytical ability. We need someone who can quantitatively analyze the business value of engineering decisions and articulate a narrative about their importance.

Preferred Qualification :

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Tech Stack:

Backend: nodejs, expressjs, javascript, grapnel, mysql, Postgres for database, kubernetes and microservices architecture and docker for deployment

Frontend: Mobile Apps - Android, iOS, Flutter (good to have) and Dart
