Role details:

• Title / Designation: Engineering Manager
• Reporting Manager: VP of Engineering
• Location: Kolkata, India
• Work Mode: Full-time / WFO

Role & responsibilities:

• As the team lead, work on new modules and features to the product.
• Work closely with front-end developers, Product Managers, and the team to technically solution new product features providing a magical user-experience.
• With a good understanding of industry development and trends, join us on brainstorming sessions and help build a great product together.
• Lead by example with top-notch, optimized code, run scrums and give clear visibility of release work.
• Scout for top talent, groom them and align them with our company vision because we believe in growing together.
• Debug bugs efficiently and deploy fixes like a pro.

Candidate requirements:

• 8 to 10 years of hands-on designing, architecting and coding
• 4+ years of Node.js expertise.
• Hands-on experience in crafting queries (both relational & NoSQL) and working with database modules like sequelizer & mongoose.
• Experience in breaking monolith to microservice architecture.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and data structures.
• Good to have experience in Nest.js, Express.js, React.js and Sequelize ORM
• Bonus points for experience in Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Fluent in the language of event-based integration, transaction, and real-time ERP inbound/outbound integration.
• Must have worked in a highly concurrent system preferably B2B multitenant architecture
• B.tech degree
