Job Description
You have a deep understanding of sustainability reporting, Sustainability/ESG rating agencies, frameworks and databases, with a proven track record in the production of annual sustainability or corporate social responsibility reports.
- A detailed understanding of current and emerging regulatory reporting requirements, with the ability to analyse ESG regulatory trends and developments and make reporting recommendations.
- A good understanding of key ESG frameworks such as the Task-force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and investor expectations in relation to these frameworks.
- A familiarity with and experience of engaging with Sustainability/ESG indices and benchmarks, such as FTSE4Good, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, MSCI, Sustainalytics and CDP.
- A good understanding of non-financial reporting processes, internal controls and data, with an understanding of the role of assurance and specific challenges in the ESG assurance market.
- An ability to take complex sustainability accounting and reporting standards and explain them in everyday language.
- Good inter-personal skills, with an ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organisation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to meet deadlines, while working in a flexible and collaborative way.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
