Position Title: EU Technical Sales Manager – Composites Applications - Nano Technology – Advanced Materials
General of this role:
- responsible for developing and managing our forthcoming new business in Composites sectors in Europe
- responsible for new business development from initiation to sales, based on products and solutions of our client
- Coordinates product development, technical support and marketing activity provided by other departments,
- Identifying growth initiatives and executing the plan to expand industry presence in the European market of Composites
- Expand and execute our strategy in a sustainable way in compliance of our business ethics.
This position reports to Business Development Director (Elastomers&Composites)
The work involves constant communication with key persons of Group in technical support, R&D and product development divisions in different countries
Missions:
- Identify opportunities, develop sales pipeline, execute plan and sustain the sales for the coming years
- Team cooperation with Product Development, R&D, Quality department, Customer Service and Marketing teams
- Manage accurately sales pipeline metrics
- Develop customer intimacy at all levels of customer hierarchy (R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning, Regulatory…)
- Manage contract and supply agreement. In coordination with customer service, monitor demand planning, stock and deliveries
- Maintain high level of knowledge on latest composites’ market development
- Maintain and use daily CRM to report all activities
- Participate to seminars, fairs and exhibition to actively promote our breakthrough technology
Qualification requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Composites.
- Minimum of 5+ years sales experience in the Composites market (prepreg, filament winding, pultrusion, gelcoat, SMC/BMC , infusion/RTM etc...)
- Ability to ask probing questions to truly understand product, process and market demand
- Able to handle large quantities of work and multi-tasking with effective prioritization skills
- Active team player who will effectively work across all functions
- Fluent in English and German will be a plus.
- Willingness to travel within EU, up to 50%
