Parkside Recruitment are currently looking for a European Transport Coordinator for a Fine Art's franchise with offices based in London.

This position is a full-time, permanent position and the client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Role:

European Transport Coordinate is responsible for the co-coordinating, managing and profitability of the European transport operations.

Duties:

• Managing export and import processes for road/freight shipments.
• Planning/coordinating transport routes, and schedules for European fleet.
• Arranging customer collections, packing services and deliveries.
• Plan routes and schedule delivery times.
• Coordinating drivers, agency staff and vehicles for work.
• Liaising with customs for clearance and managing custom entry restrictions.
• Managing EU air freight and road courier shipments.
• Managing all aspects of shipping fine art and antiques from location to another.

Relevant Qualifications and Experience:

• Knowledge of domestic and European transport operations and planning
• Existing knowledge of current EU legislation.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Knowledge of current EU customs, procedures, and requirements.
• Be able to handle and communicate professionally with clients and goods.
• Commercially driven to meet end to end costs.
