My International client urgently requires an experienced VAT Compliance Specialist to join their team for a minimum period of 6 months.

You will be required to prepare Spanish VAT returns to enable the in-housing of compliance responsibilities

This headcount will be used to prepare VAT compliance reports and assist with the in-housing project.

SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED

• VAT return and statistical return preparation
• Investigate and respond to Tax queries from the Tax office
• Audit and SII support
• Reconciliation of the VAT account
• Providing VAT support internally

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Min 2 years of experience within EU VAT compliance
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Advanced excel
• Attention to detail

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT, or similar credentials preferred
• Spanish speaking however not essential
