For a 5* Luxury Resort in Capri, we are looking for a

EVENTS MANAGER

Main Duties:

• Maximize all Group and Event revenue opportunities
• Be focused on communicating, maintaining, and developing client relationship
• Sales proactive activities in order to develop new business
• Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments' adherence to achieving that strategy
• Plan, direct and implement events in a close relationship with the Banqueting and F&B teams in order to maximize guests satisfaction
• Manage Event Logistics and Operations
• Ensure the Group and Events Team Members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high-quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts
• Manage and develop the Group and Events Team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning
• Ensure and provide Exceptional Customer Service
• Arrange and carry out site inspections
• Organize hotel promotional activities

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated previous managerial or supervisory experience in events departments within luxury hospitality properties
• Business development oriented;
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance and exceed targets
• Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
• Excellent selling capability and an ability and desire to coach selling techniques to their team
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Accountable and resilient
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Fluent in Italian and English both written and spoken
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
