EA roles and responsibilities:
- Calendar & Time Management: Prioritize and schedule meetings, protect founder’s time.
- Inbox & Communication: Manage emails, draft responses, flag urgent issues. Take care of LinkedIn handle, social media handle of the company. Provide inputs on employer branding.
- Meeting Prep & Follow-Up: Prepare agendas, materials, take notes, track action items.
- Travel Planning: Coordinate flights, hotels, itineraries, and logistics.
- Gatekeeping: Filter requests, act as first point of contact for stakeholders.
- Project Tracking: Monitor key initiatives, ensure deadlines are met, report progress.
- Research & Briefings: Gather data, create summaries for faster decision-making - note taker.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with investors, board members, clients, and team.
- Internal Communication: Cascade founder updates, ensure alignment across team.
- Event Support: Plan offsites, board meetings, and investor presentations.
- Process Improvement: Suggest tools/workflows to optimize founder’s efficiency.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and trust.
- Personal Support: Assist with personal scheduling, travel, and errands.
