Job Description
For a Luxury Resort in Liguria, we are looking for an
Executive Chef
Main Duties:
- Defines new concepts for the Restaurant in line with the company vision, the hotel identity, and local and international food trends.
- Training and overseeing the kitchen staff on the new menus and dishes preparation and providing leadership and guidance
- Reviews the preparation planning of new dishes daily with the kitchen leadership team
- Ensures high standards of food quality
- Leads the day-to-day culinary operation through hands-on personal involvement, oversees culinary department budgets
- Manages day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, and standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
- Reviews monthly F&B P&L and recommends/institutes measures for revenue enhancement and cost control for any material deviation
- Ensuring that food preparation meets health standards and HACCP rules by conducting regular inspections of the kitchen facilities, storage areas, and equipment used in the food preparation.
- Prepare and deliver workshops to the kitchen team on the last food industry trends and new culinary techniques.
- Maintain a good relationship with local suppliers and choose preferred partners having in mind their sustainable policies and quality of products
Job Requirements & Skills:
- Working experience of minimum of 3 years as a Head Chef in Luxury Hotel’s Industry
- Experience in Fine Dining Restaurant required (Michelin is a plus)
- Deep knowledge of Italian and international food industry and trends
- Focus on excellence and costumers satisfaction
- Advanced English knowledge
- A creative mind with the ability to create unique recipes, flavor pairing, and cooking best practices
- Excellent training and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and organization
