We are looking for an Export Coordinator for our client, a company that activates in the manufacturing sector.

Export Coordinator

The Export Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the export process, ensuring compliance with international regulations and timely delivery of goods to customers. This role involves coordinating with various internal departments, freight forwarders, customs agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth export operations. The Export Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Documentation:

• Prepare and review export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales, logistics, and finance, to gather necessary information for export documentation.

Shipping Coordination:

• Arrange transportation for exported goods, including booking cargo space, negotiating rates with carriers, and coordinating shipments with freight forwarders.
• Track shipments in transit, monitor delivery schedules, and address any delays or issues that may arise during transportation.

Customs Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with export regulations and customs requirements of both the exporting and importing countries.
• Obtain necessary export licenses, permits, and certifications, and stay updated on changes to international trade laws and regulations.

Customer Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding export orders, providing timely updates on order status, shipping schedules, and documentation requirements.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to export shipments, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Supply Chain Coordination:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize transportation costs.
• Coordinate with production planning to ensure timely availability of goods for export and minimize inventory holding costs.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that exported goods meet quality standards and specifications, coordinating quality inspections and testing as necessary.
• Implement quality control measures to prevent shipment errors or discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Previous experience in export coordination, international logistics, or freight forwarding preferred.
• Knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with export management software.
• Advanced knowledge of Italian, and French is a plus.
