Job Description
For a 4**** lifestyle hotel in Milan, we’re looking for a:
F&B Manager
Main duties:
- Coordinating a team of 10 people, with a future increase of the staff;
- Supervising the breakfast, meeting and coworking areas, paying a special attention to the bar at the ground floor which is open to internal and external guests;
- Managing the activites of the outlets;
- Cooperating in the definition and development of the food & beverage offer;
- Participating in the creation of the menu and the definition of its quality;
- Particpiating in the definition of the menu’s prices, analysing the average cost-meal price;
- Attending the services and being a brand ambassador in order to create new business opportunities;
- Assuring the profit maximisation for every cost and profit centre respecting the company’s standards and focusing on the optimisation of the costs;
- Meeting and maintaining food costs’ targets for all the items;
- Being the go-to person when it comes to negotiationg with the suppliers in order to assure the best quality-price balance and meet the target;
- Managing the inventory and coordinating the treasureship for a better management of the warehouse and the purchases;
- Assuring that the company’s standards are met.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience within start-ups and management of the opening of a similar concepts;
- Knowledge and experience of bar and restaurant management with high volume and focus on the quality of the products served;
- Passion for the Restaurant & Hospitality field;
- Be curious new trends and experiences;
- Passion for the beverage field, in particular for cocktails;
- Excellent management and problem-solving skills;
- Natural inclination for teaching and coaching;
- Knowledge and focus on the work safety matters;
- Positive attitude;
- Fluency in Italian and English
