The purpose of this job is to manage and organize all the activities related to the building maintenance, ensuring high quality standard and the compliance with the Italian laws.

He/she is in charge of the relationships with external contractors in order to monitor the maintenance and renovation works. He/she has to support School Director and the Academic Department in finding the best classroom occupancy & layout for students, tutor and staff.

The Facilities & Operations Supervisor is responsible for the whole process related to Health and Safety (staff training, prevention and protection) guaranteeing the respect of the standard and deadline required by the law.

He/she will be in charge of organizing all the non-academic services for students and tutor (cafeteria, library, reception)

Key purpose of the role

• To manage and organize all the activities related to the building maintenance, guaranteeing the respect of the Italian rules and related deadline;
• To manage the relationships with external contractors in order to monitor the maintenance and renovation works;
• To manage the relationships with external contractors to organize events or other School activities;
• To manage the whole Health and Safety process;
• To support School Director and the Academic Department in finding the best classroom occupancy & layout for students, tutor and staff
• To supervise the activities related to the Facilities & Operation;
• To supervise the School supply process;
• To coordinate all the non-academic services for students and tutor

Education and skills

• Education as technician or degree in management / structural engineering / architecture / interior design;
• Minimum three years’ experience in the role.
• The provenience from a Luxury company is a plus;
• Expert on Italian rules related to Health & Safety, fire safety, building certificate and maintenance.
