Job Description
Description:
- Deliver the agreed growth and market improvement targets.
- Prepare annual work plan for the modern trade team and ensure adherence to the same as part of daily work tasks
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports for monitoring sales performance by brand and by customer segment.
- Conduct frequent business review and feedback meetings with all key accounts.
- Develop and implement appropriate Channel & Customer Plans utilizing the support budget to achieve the sales targets.
- As part of the sales cycle, lead the negotiations with all customers to ensure successful deal closure.
- To translate all categories agendas into channel agenda including plans for the trade and to be responsible for achievement of these plans within the budget.
- Ensure shelf planograms are maintained as per the plans.
- Keep a close tab on competitor’s activities and suggest ongoing improvements and counter plans.
- Responsible for managing outside service providers to ensure they comply with A&P policies and procedures as well as that any assigned targets are met. Oversees provision of tools required for the delivery of sales and leasing services.
- Ensure that Sales activities are performed optimally and in line with internal and external requirements. Ensures that all Sales
- activities comply with the approved procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring correct stock levels at each wholesaler are maintained, and that the channel teams are covering agreed
- universe productively.
- Responsible for initiating channel improvement initiatives
- Responsible to expand the customer base within Qatar through relationship building and business development.
- Train, develop and mentor the reporting sales team, in line with market trends and demands.
- Ensure that agreed Customer Service standard / parameters are met.
- Agree stock norms for store / shelf for lead brands with key accounts and ensure compliance.
Forecast by Channel:
- Develop channel forecast based on support plan.
- Follow sales and report deviation against forecast.
