Role Overview

• As a Field Service Supervisor specialising in generators, you will represent the company on hydropower construction and modernisation sites across Europe and internationally.
• You will take full technical ownership of generator installation works, manage international subcontractor on-site, and serve as the primary technical interface between the site and the engineering and project management teams at headquarters.
• These are newly created positions, reflecting active project growth. The majority of projects are based in Europe; international assignments may also include locations in Asia, Africa, and Oceania.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pre-erection of generator stator and rotor, including stacking and winding.
• Perform and assist with specific electrical measurements; check and sign off on measurement protocols.
• Guide and oversee subcontractor installation teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Coordinate with the project engineering team on technical matters arising on-site.
• Ensure that all required tools and equipment are available on-site at the right time.
• Track schedules and manage capacity planning on-site; take preventive action when deviations arise.
• Coordinate site activities across assigned trades, subcontractor personnel, and client representatives.
• Produce weekly progress reports, deviation reports, HSE status reports, and site meeting documentation.
• Support procurement of auxiliary materials within defined project limits.
• Monitor QA compliance throughout the installation process.
• Conduct periodic safety instructions and inspections with on-site assembly personnel.
• Maintain discipline and professional standards on the construction site.
• Record and verify hours worked by assigned assembly personnel.

Must-Have Requirements

• Hands-on experience in the installation and/or manufacturing of generators or large electric motors. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Technical proficiency in English: mandatory for client communication, reporting, and coordination with international engineering teams.
• High availability for international travel and extended site assignments.
• Resident in Romania (any city): mandatory eligibility condition.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CAD or Solid Wedge is an advantage.
• Structured and disciplined approach to reporting, even under site pressure.
• Experience working in environments with strict HSE standards.
• Nice to have: German language skills. A meaningful advantage given the company's international project environment.

Mobility and Assignment Model

• All time between project assignments is fully compensated.
• Accommodation is fully provided during active field assignments.
• Project durations range from 1 month to 4 years depending on scope.
