General Objective:
The Field Service Technician installs and mantain the equipment and machinery at our customers facilities. The technicians are responsable for control equipment CNC - PLC repair and troubleshooting, programming, calibration and verification, adjustment and process optimation, acceptance and training during internal and external installation and mantainance.
Responsibilities:
- Complete programming to implement solutions, calibration and adjustment process tasks.
- Coordinates and interfaces directly with customers, suppliers, and other entities to ensure that all customer requirements, goals and objectives are fully understodd and communicated to senior management.
- Complete customer final acceptance under the Services Manger's supervision according to the acceptance protocol.
- Identify and apply technical solutions to problems of incidents arising during the after sales services or commissioning processes in order to garantee performance and communication.
- Developm the technical contents necessary for manuals including control-operation, trouble-shooting, preventive and corrective maintenance. Carry out customer training for the correct machine operation and the adequate use of manuals.
Qualifications
- Must be USA Citizen or Permant Resident
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Associate Degree or technical certification in related field or higher (Preferred).
- 3+ years' installing, reparing and maintaining machines such as: CNC Machines, PLCs (Siemens, Omron, FANUC) and other automation machines.
- Understanding of electrical, pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Technical Software: PLC/CNC experience SIEMENS and FANUC (Preferred)
- CNC Software: Siemens Sinumerik - Sinumerik Operate.
- PLC Software: Siemens Tial Portal v15
- Ability to travel internationally
