ax Specialist – Tax Compliance & Control Location: Mexico City (CDMX)Work Model: Primarily on-siteEmployment Type: Permanent About the Position We are looking for a Tax Specialist / Tax Compliance & Control professional to join our team and contribute to the timely and accurate fulfillment of tax obligations, as well as the recovery of tax balances in favor with the tax authorities. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly federal tax calculations based on accounting and payroll information. Participate in the annual calculation of tax obligations and tax filings. Manage applications and recovery of tax balances in favor, mainly VAT. Respond to tax authority requests, invitations, notices, and tax audit or review procedures. Gather supporting documentation and prepare working papers required to respond to tax authority requests. Prepare monthly accounting-to-tax reconciliations. Coordinate with different internal areas to obtain and validate the information required for tax compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 3 to 5 years of experience in tax or fiscal positions. Proven experience in: Tax calculations and compliance. VAT and recovery of tax balances in favor. Responding to tax authority requests. Accounting-to-tax reconciliations. Preparation of tax working papers. Excel is mandatory, with the ability to manage and analyze databases and perform reconciliations. Experience with CONTPAQi or any accounting/administrative ERP. Experience using tax authority technology platforms. Intermediate knowledge of tax regulations. Basic English is desirable. Availability to work on-site in Mexico City. Desirable Qualifications Experience with SAP or another enterprise ERP. Experience working in companies with corporate structures or multiple legal entities. What we're looking for 3–5 years of experience in Customer Success, Customer Service, Order Management, Inside Sales Support or Sales Operations within a B2B manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience managing customer orders from receipt through delivery. Hands-on experience using SAP ERP (required). Experience with Microsoft CRM or similar CRM platforms is a plus. Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory coordination and customer order processes. Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment. Advanced English (written and spoken) is required, as you will collaborate with regional and international stakeholders.
