Job Responsbilties include but not limited to:
- Directly responsible for the Field Service Job Execution, Quality of Service report, Updating reports and settings in SMS, Timely update of Expenses, Customer satisfaction survey report.
- Responsible for the overall service operations business objectives by providing competent and quality customer service to fulfil customer commitments.
- Indirectly responsible for the overall Regional Field Service objectives and growth targets.
Safety:
· Ensure use of adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during every service visit
· Adhere to safety instructions/ policy at customer site
· Report Safety issues and ensure safe working behavior (Stop-Think-Act)
Execution:
· Undertaking servicing of Alfa Laval equipments as per customer demand, performance agreements / contracts in Egypt & other countries if needed.
· Resolve customer complaints at the shortest possible time
· Support warranty claim handling and follow up on actions
· Train customers on product and operation of equipment
· Communicate Product related changes and technical upgrade to customer
· Explore business development and opportunities for new services, upgrade, performance agreements and service contracts
· Capture and report Installed Base to Service Advisor and Sales
· Proactive recommendation to customers for timely purchase of spares.
· Acquire up-to-date technical knowledge about products and applications
· Receive/gather customer insight and feedback and communicate/act on the same
· Effective utilization of Alfa Laval soft tools and service helpdesk
Reporting:
· Ensure documentation of every visits and minute all observations and commitments with customer.
· Technical report to be issued to customer at site with observations/recommendations
· Usage of InTouch, SMS tool for reporting and Payroll update.
Required Qualfiications:
Competencies / experience:
1. Good technical competence to trouble shoot, commission and service needs of High speed separators in Energy and Food applications.
2. Good technical competence to trouble shoot and service needs of Decanter in Energy, Waste Water and Food applications.
3. Technical competence in Gasketed Plate heat exchangers commissioning, trouble shooting, performance audits and reconditioning
Attitude:
·Strong Communication and excellent team player.
· Good ability to write technical reports and communicate with customer and Service Operation.
· Flexible to travel across the region on given job assignments
· Ambition to develop competence to meet customer demands.
· Meeting Field service KPI’s aligned with individual plan (performance dialogue)
. Profile:
§ Education Background: Engineering graduate/Technical Education background (Mechanical / Electrical)
§ Experience: Minimum 3-5 years working experience in similar position.
§ Customer Focus: Takes action to improve Alfa Laval value to the customer; prioritize customer requirements and subsequently investigates and timely response to ensure positive customer experience.
§ Planning: Effectively plans and prioritizes, given the available resources. Sets clearly defined objectives and goals, drive activities and follow up to deliver results. Prioritizes the vital few.
§ Securing Quality: Challenges self to achieve high quality performance; Ensures that timely response and quality standards are met; Maintains professional, high quality work even at a very detailed level; Drives for and follows up results;
