ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting in month end requirements and reporting and reviewing binders
• Critically reviewing FAR and CWIP and ensure compliance with policies
• Critically reviewing and analyzing program wise tooling costs and ensure compliance with the policies.
• Tracking, analyzing costs and reviewing cost center wise reports and flag off cases exceeding budget.
• Active involvement in Continuous Improvement Projects and cost saving initiatives. Driving department heads in tracking the projects and keeping a tab on the project status to ensure the timelines and the planned savings achieved.
• Assist in the development of the business plan, quarterly forecasts and annual audits.
• Assist in the continued automation of manual tasks with automated systems to achieve more timely and consistent financial reporting. Develop and conduct training on all aspects of understanding/utilizing financial performance information.
• Support development of financial schedules and presentations. Assist with the continuous improvement of the division's ability to monitor profitability on a product-by-product basis.
• Reviewing day to day activities in accounting function and engaging with the team for troubleshooting
• Assisting in Statutory audits, Internal audits/ any other departmental audits.
• Reviewing systems, processes to ensure loopholes are minimized
• Monitor, review costs and arrange meetings with departments to track the same
• Prepare for other plans and projects as assigned by the Controller.
• CA or ICWA with minimum 2-4 years of experience of a large organization, preferably from Automobile. Prior experience of Big 4 in articleship will be an advantage. • Good organizational, leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,Strong analytical abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tact.
• Experience in working in SAP environment
• Working knowledge of management information systems, relational database applications, advanced Excel skills.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting for a manufacturing business,Proven strong planning/organizational/time management skills and an ability to lead and develop a team. Work Environment
• Office and manufacturing plant which is characterized by temperature extremes, loud noise and considerable tow motor traffic.
• The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers. • Able to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends and additional hours as required Other Considerations
