Our Client is a central Europe well established group that develops and integrates the country veterinary industry in a partnership-based, flexible business model. Our Client vision is that the cooperation with doctors and owners of leading animal health institutions, there is a new quality of services offered and raised standards of work in the veterinary sector.
The group has solid financing and there is a start up in progress in Romania now.
Location: Centre of Bucharest office - but we can accept great candidates from every other place in Romania as this person will need to possess high mobility
⏳ Work model: if duties do not require to be in the office/clinic, hybrid (wfh) mode is also accepted.
Employment type: indefinite Employment contract or cooperation B2B also accepted .
- Scope of the role:
This role will help in offering financial support of setting up and expanding a network of veterinarian clinics in Romania, aiming to hire min 200 people within next 1-2 years; 2 are already acquired . This business model is already proven in other East-Central EU countries and it implies cooperation with an investment fund and a direct finance advisory role to the local network to build.

Demands :
- Experience of at least 5 years in similar positions, preferably in an international environment, nice to have an expossure in the veterinary or related sector (e.g. pharmacy, laboratories, petfood, etc.)
- Finance/accounting education
- Ease in establishing relationships and cooperation with people with limited financial knowledge

Responsibilities:
- Managing financial planning, forecasting, reporting and conducting analysis within the main structure of the company,
- Cooperation with external accounting offices;
- Analysis of results, including identification of leading trends,
- Creation of accurate and timely reports for the Management Board, including analysis of sales, operating expenses, EBITDA and capital expenditures,
- Responsibility for managing performance in the company, including identifying and reporting KPIs related to the company's strategy and driving actions,
- Preparation of financial forecasts and budgets,
- Responsibility for the strategic planning process and strategic initiatives of the company, including acquisitions and investment evaluation, providing financial planning and modeling skills,
- Responsibility for the process of supporting and engaging the clinics and the operational team closely related to finance matters, including providing them with financial training,
- Assuming the role of a partner/competitor in the evaluation of the clinic's business plans/budgets,
- Ensuring the integrity of financial data provided by the finance team to other areas of the business and business partners,
- Reporting results to: CFO and Clinic Managers,
- Administering the preparation of budgets,
- Controlling sales results, margins and OPEX, CAPEX in the clinics,
- Conducting gap analysis (current vs budget vs previous year),
- Support in creating procedures and guidelines to eliminate gaps and risks,
- Cash flow reporting and forecasting,
- Control of receivables, payables, inventories (working capital), Ad hoc financial analysis
C&B draft package:
- Salary and Benefits: 6,500 Euro gross per month and performance bonus
