Description:

We are partnering with one of our European MNC clients to hire a Finance Director for their operations

Location: Tamil Nadu, Chennai

Education/Qualification: CA or CMA or MBA finance or Any Bachelor degree

Experience: 20+ years, preferably in an MNC environment

Team Structure: 3 direct reportees

Compensation: 50-55 LPA (including 10% variable)

Key Responsibilities:

1) Strategic Responsibilities:

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with corporate strategy.

- Collaborate with regional and global management to formulate business plans.

2) Operational Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with local and international standards.

- Manage costs, cash flow, and working capital; optimize operational efficiency.

- Maintain relationships with banks and regional offices for treasury and financial operations.

3) Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate statutory audits, and maintain robust internal controls.

- Identify and mitigate financial, compliance, and legal risks as per group guidelines.

4) Matrix & Leadership Responsibilities:

- Act as the liaison between the Indian subsidiary and global/regional finance teams.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team; foster professional growth and efficiency.

- Manage key stakeholder relationships and represent the company in financial discussions
