The Finance Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term financial vitality of the group. This role encompasses crafting financial strategies across all business units within our company, consolidating financial reports at the group level, and providing insights into major trends, patterns, and potential concerns in the financial health of both the group and its subsidiary companies. The Finance Director is also responsible for fostering strong relationships with banks to ensure a steady availability of funds when required.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidation of Financial Reports: Aggregate financial reports, including cash flow statements, profit and loss statements (P&L), and balance sheets, at the group level. Present consolidated reports to the group CEO and the board to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis of statements at the group level, offering key insights into financial ratios and metrics on a regular basis. This analysis aids in identifying areas of strength and improvement.
- Bank Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks to secure funding and financial facilities for the group and its subsidiary companies. Oversee and manage group-level bank facilities effectively.
- Recommendations for Financial Health Enhancement: Provide strategic recommendations to enhance the overall financial health of the group, based on thorough analysis and understanding of financial trends.
- Collaboration with Strategy and Investment: Collaborate closely with the strategy and investment division to ensure adequate funds for new developments and investments, supporting the group's expansion and growth strategies.
- Financial Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and implement financial policies, ensuring consistent adherence across the group. Guarantee that financial operations align with relevant regulations and standards.

- Group-Level Financial Reports: Deliver consolidated financial reports that provide a holistic view of the group's financial performance.
- Financial Ratio Analysis: Present well-informed insights into financial ratios, aiding decision-making processes.
- Timely Payments: Ensure compliance with payment schedules for major financial commitments.
- Bank Facility Availability: Guarantee the availability of bank facilities and funds, facilitating operational continuity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CA) is a plus.
- Proven experience of 10 years as a Finance Director, demonstrating a track record of strategic financial management and effective decision-making.
- Strong familiarity with holding companies or diversified groups is highly advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial principles, regulations, and standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the capability to interpret intricate financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, enabling effective conveyance of financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
