Hiring for a Finance Leader - Aerospace Component Manufacturing, for a specialized aerospace parts manufacturer.

Role details:
- Title / Designation: VP - Finance
- Reporting to: Managing Director
- Location: Chennai
Role & responsibilities:
- Lead financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Serve as Company Secretary and Trust Secretary, managing relationships with auditors, bankers, insurers, and legal advisors.
- Direct financial processing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Supervise and mentor the Finance and Accounting Department.
- Plan and implement annual budgeting processes.
- Generate profit forecasts, cash flow analyses, and reports.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with international and local financial regulations.
- Maintain organized and updated financial records.
- Attend relevant training and provide guidance to junior accountants.
- Oversee all accounting tasks and transactions, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in financial management, preferably within aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Expertise in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strategic thinking and ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
