Our Client is an international group specialises in agribusiness, seeds, chemicals having a continuous presence in Romania and a permanent expansion since more than two decades.

Focus points of this role: the coordination of the activities of cost analysis / extraction & data processing,  the verification of tax & managerial accounting  / accounting dimensions, production cost accounting etc), well-organized periodic reports (fiscal & managerial) + knowledge of taxation and advanced Excel .

The Finance Manager role reports to the company president and will coodinate a team of 3  direct subordinates (chief accountant, controller, senior reporting& budget manager etc)

The few most important must haves of the best matching Candidate in this role are:

• Holistic Financial Oversight: Manage the entire finance department with a comprehensive approach, including budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Advisory and Consultancy: Provide strategic financial guidance to CEO/top management/shareholders (collaborating with external consultancy firm, if needed). Able to act as a respected advisor and business partner for the board of management.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong communication and manage financial operations for stakeholders/shareholders from the Group.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams. 
• Monthly Financial Reviews: Advise the CEO and stakeholders in monthly financial reviews, presenting data and strategic recommendations.
• Resilience and Data Analysis: Handle pressure, work with extensive data reports, and analyze financial data effectively.
• Software Utilization: Advanced  reporting, P&Ls, budgets, and financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and take responsibility for all financial and accounting aspects within the company.
• Manage internal accounting functions, including tax compliance.
• Monitor and control the company's financial performance.
• Oversee treasury management.
• Prepare weekly and monthly group financial reports, including balance sheets, detailed profit and loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
• Supervise the preparation of annual statutory accounts and maintain a positive relationship with auditors.
• Lead the budget and forecast preparation process and perform in-depth analysis.
• Collaborate with company and Group management to achieve financial goals.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and cooperation with other Group companies.
• Manage a team of professionals, ensuring their growth and performance.

• Effectively handle conflict situations as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Formal education in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or audit roles.
• ACCA ongoing would be a plus
• IFRS / US GAAP must deep knowledge and experience
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical and multitasking skills.
• Experience in team management.
• Proven ability to manage conflict situations.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills.
