This business operates from both custom large-scale data centres and containerized, in-house data centres, providing ample location choices.

To join their team of over 200 employees, we are looking in Frankfurt for a:

Finance Manager (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with the country responsible teams to ensure accounting is done accurately, promptly and all necessary information is available.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions).
• Coordinate month-end closure and review BS and P&L within Europe
• Training new employees. Be available for questions, support and guidance.
• Work with external auditors and consultants to ensure financial and statutory compliance.
• Maintaining compliance with public reporting regulations
• Manage the company's financial accounting and reporting systems (SAP, invoice workflow, etc.)

Profile:

• Based in Germany (ideally in Frankfurt, as this is where our Head office is located)
• Hybrid role, ideally coming into the office 2-3 days a week

• Qualified Chartered Accountant is a plus
• German GAAP knowledge is a must-have
• Ideally 4-5 years working experience, ideally with experience working with/for a multi-territory business
• Strong technical knowledge of local German GAAP 
• Ideally should have some (even if limited) management experience and is looking to grow their management skills
• SAP 4 Hana experience is a plus, but training can be provided
• Problem-solver, who can think outside of the box as well as provide hand-on coaching to direct reports
• Proven leadership and team management skills 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels and external stakeholders
• Must be assertive and hands-on. Will be required to roll up their sleeves and get involved in accounting, posting journal entries etc.
• Must be a team player/collaborative individual with a can-do attitude
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Will be required to collaborate with FP&A, Tax and Treasury teams, as well as others within the Company
• Tech sector experience is a plus, but not required
• Interest in Crypto is a plus
