Antal International are currently looking for a Financial Accountant with 2-3 years experience to join our team. We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic individual, with excellent attention to detail who has excellent communication skills.

 The role will be based in Baker Street, London 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions 

Update and maintain the general ledger 

Reconciliation of entries in the accounting system 

Maintain the trial balance by a reconciliation of general ledgers 

Proposing of transactional journal

Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions. 

Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and work with external advisors for VAT compliance

Assist in the month end close

Assist in the preparation of the annual audit

Assist in the preparation of Balance Sheet reporting and reconciliation

Resolving commercial queries from stakeholders

Ad-hoc projects

SKILLS 

Problem solver 

Good understanding of Excel formulae (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PivotTables)

Experience in accounting and bookkeeping (2-3 years)

Resourceful, well organised, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail

Self-motivated and confident in managing a busy workload

Hours:   0900am to 18.00pm (40 hrs per week)
