ROLE: Financial Accountant
- Location: Sebes (headquarters) - exclusively on-site work
- Contract Duration: Indefinite (90-day probation period)
- Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Your role as an Accountant with financial analysis experience goes beyond traditional accounting tasks. You will actively contribute to the organization's financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes, leveraging your expertise to support financial transparency, efficiency, and strategic planning.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Verification of inventory management:
- You will be responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of inventory records. This includes conducting regular physical inventory counts, reconciling inventory balances with financial records, and investigating any discrepancies. By ensuring the accuracy of inventory data, you will contribute to the overall financial integrity of the organization.
- Managerial accounting
- You will play a key role in managerial accounting, which involves analyzing financial information to support internal decision-making. This may include preparing cost reports, analyzing cost drivers, and assisting in the development of cost-effective strategies. Your analysis will provide insights into the financial performance of different departments or projects, helping management make informed decisions to optimize resources and achieve financial objectives.
- Cost verification
- As part of your responsibilities, you will verify and analyze costs incurred by the organization. This includes assessing the accuracy and reasonableness of cost allocations, reviewing cost structures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Through detailed cost verification, you will contribute to cost control initiatives and assist in optimizing the allocation of resources.
- Collaboration in the preparation of statutory financial statements
- You will actively participate in the preparation of statutory financial statements, which are essential for external reporting purposes. This involves ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, consolidating financial data, and preparing accurate financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Your attention to detail and adherence to accounting principles will contribute to the organization's financial transparency and compliance.
- Collaboration in the preparation of IFRS financial statements
- In addition to statutory financial statements, you will assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This may involve analyzing complex transactions, applying IFRS guidelines, and ensuring accurate presentation and disclosure of financial information. Your expertise in IFRS reporting will contribute to the organization's ability to meet international reporting standards and facilitate global business operations.
- Internal reporting
- You will be responsible for generating internal financial reports to provide meaningful insights to management and other stakeholders. This may involve creating management reports, variance analysis reports, and financial performance dashboards. By synthesizing and presenting financial information in a clear and concise manner, you will support decision-making at various levels of the organization.

Requirements:
- Education: Higher education in finance and accounting
- Relevant experience in a similar position: Minimum 5 years (3 years for junior candidates willing to learn)
- Organizational and planning skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
- English language proficiency: Intermediate/Advanced
