Financial Accountant (m/f/x)
Aufgaben (Auszug):
General Ledger
- Process and examine general ledger accounts on a regular monthly schedule. Balance the accounts, and analyse any discrepancies.
- Ensure that bank and cash accounts are reconciled on a regular basis.
- Compose and modify journal entries as required.
- Be ready to book monthly expenses accruals, prepayments, deferred revenues and costs
- I work closely with different departments, such as Treasury and FP&A, to ensure that accurate records are maintained and comprehensive accounting support is provided.
Accounts receivable/payable
- Ensuring that all customers and vendors in the accounting system are correctly set up and kept up-to-date is an important part of this position.
- Examine accounting records to verify their accuracy by way of income and expenditure reports.
- Verify all direct debit vendor invoices to guarantee accord with cost assessments.
- It is essential that expense reports are allocated accurate GL account numbers and apportioned into the correct cost/profit centres.
- Invoices should be submitted as soon as possible, and all expenses must adhere to the Group´s authorization guidelines.
General duties
- Maintain fixed assets and inventory, with documentation that includes recording depreciation every month and reconciling the asset register with GL accounts.
- Assisting external advisors in the preparation of necessary filings for government, including VAT returns, EU Sales Lists and any other required statistical reports.
- Generate payment files and submit them to Treasury for processing.
- On a monthly basis, the Intercompany reconciliations are to be conducted. This should be done regularly to ensure accuracy between the two entities.
- I help to produce records that show the timely execution of financial controls.
- Help with month-end and year-end closing procedures, working together inside and outside the company with local specialists and auditors if needed.
- Aid the Finance Manager when needed.
Profil (Auszug):
- A qualification in Accounting or a related area is necessary.
- Ideally, at least two to three years of experience in accounting is necessary.
- Attentiveness and proficiency in problem-solving are both essential abilities.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, etc.), along with solid computer skills
- Experience with SAP 4 Hana is beneficial; however, if needed training will be provided
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. An added advantage would be German speaking capabilities.
- The capacity to safeguard monetary facts is essential. It calls for having a strong sense of secrecy and restraint in divulging sensitive data.
- The capacity to both cooperate as part of a team and handle tasks independently is essential.
- The capacity to prioritize assignments, maintain focus and demonstrate initiative are essential characteristics.
