Our Client is a Multinational industrial and production company that is looking to hire and to grow a new controller function in the team
Role Responsibilities :
• Prepares specific reports and provides all the information requested by the Chief Financial Officer
• Prepares the annual budget for the allocated business unit
• Contributes to the control and optimization of costs, analysis of fixed costs and production costs
• Monitors and analysis the operational financial performance of the production department and the support departments
• Responsible for controlling investments in BI system - INFOR (budget vs current. Explanations on variations to the Project Manager)
• Reports to the Project Manager regarding the investment projects
• Proposes, monitors Key Performance Indicators and prepares monthly Business Review
• Manages in SAP profit centres and cost centres for the assigned business unit
• Apply financial reporting procedures according to the guidelines
• Participates in the monthly financial closing of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, follows the correctness of recording costs according to the reporting standard to the group
• Performs analysis of closing situations per customer versus budget / forecast (sales, cost categories, headcount) and highlights the impacts in Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
• Participates in the P&L Monthly process in estimating the Profit & Loss situation for the current month and quarter - performs analysis versus budget / forecast and identifies impacts in the factory result
• Participates in the planning of financial statements (budget, forecast, strategic plan) and reporting to the group
• Participates in the annual budget planning in SAP on cost centres, hourly production rates and running standard calculations for finished and semi-finished products
• Analysis the variations between the current cost and budgeted on cost centres
• Analysis standard product costs versus current costs and versus quotation; identifies deviations and proposes corrective measures together with the responsible departments
• Participating in the organization of internal and external audits and financial controls
• Involvement in elaborating the budget together with the team
• Involvement in cost reduction analysis in all company departments
• Involvement in projects with financial impact at company level
Candidate profile requirements
• Higher Economic Studies
• Certified Chartered Accountant CECCAR /expert accountant (Body of Expert Accountants and Certified Accountants in Romania – could be a plus
• Minimum 2 years experience in a position in the financial-accounting field
- English - EU level C1
• Use MS OFFICE package - Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Advanced
• Leadership (employee leadership and development)
Location: 20 Km approx. on - A1 Bucharest - Pitesti; candidates that are residents nearby (or in Militari Bucharest) can be mostly advantaged
• work Schedule: Monday - Friday - 08:00 - 16:00
