Financial Manager

Location: Cluj-Napoca

Job Description:

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company.  

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage financial plans and budgets.
• Forecast future financial trends and recommend improvements.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports.
• Present findings and insights to senior management.

Overseeing Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Manage timely processing of invoices and collection of payments.
• Implement efficient processes for accounts management.

Compliance with Financial Regulations:

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
• Conduct audits and work with external auditors.

Preparing Financial Statements:

• Compile accurate financial statements and comprehensive reports.
• Provide financial information to senior management.

Optimizing Financial Performance:

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies for growth.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

Strong Collaboration:

• Work closely with multiple departments to ensure financial efficiency.

• Manage a team of finance and accounting professionals

Comprehensive Financial Management:

• Oversee all financial management aspects.

Review of Contracts and Commitments:

• Evaluate financial terms of contracts.
• Ensure compliance and monitor contractual commitments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in the real estate sector.
• Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and very good knowledge of MS Office and other relevant systems.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. Hungarian language skills would be a plus.
