Ghana (Site-Based – Relocation Required)

About the Role

An international construction group delivering large-scale commercial and office developments in Ghana is seeking an experienced Finishing Supervisor to join its project team.

This is a site-based role responsible for supervising all architectural finishing works and ensuring high-quality execution in line with approved drawings and specifications.

Relocation to Ghana is required (single/unmarried status).

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Supervising architectural finishing works including:

   

  • Plasterboard partitions

  • Suspended ceilings

  • Painting

  • Tiling

  • Stone works

  • Wall cladding

  • Joinery and related finishes

• Ensuring compliance with approved drawings, material submittals, and method statements

• Identifying defects and managing rectifications

• Coordinating subcontractors, foremen, and trade teams

• Planning daily site activities and monitoring productivity

• Coordinating closely with MEP teams to avoid clashes

• Monitoring progress and reporting delays or constraints

• Preparing material take-offs and tracking site material usage

• Enforcing HSE standards and maintaining proper housekeeping

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural finishing supervision

• Strong understanding of finishing materials and installation standards

• Experience on commercial or office building projects

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Experience managing subcontractors on site

• Good coordination and communication skills

• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

• Strong awareness of safety and quality procedures

• Willingness to relocate to Ghana on a long-term basis
