Fleet Manager with Russian

Job purpose: Coordinating transportation process.  Supervising, motivating and monitoring the group of drivers to get optimal performance out of managing driver.

Reports to: Senior Fleet Manager – Team Leader

Subordinates: Drivers

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Supervising, instructing, guiding and monitoring the drivers in the carrying out their daily work by providing them with work instructions/procedure about loading and unloading information, route information and parking places.
• Coordinating and optimizing the transport process by solving problems (e.g delays/ be) in collaboration with the Customer Service department and Planners.
• Managing the quality of the work, report the defects, damages and near misses.
• Other leadership related responsibility (performance, appraisal, sickness, absence etc).
• Monitoring the compliance of the legal regulations (driving hours, speed, driving and resting time) and correct use of the vehicle documents and the legally required licenses (weight of vehicles).
• Managing the fuel consumptions and fueling (tanking).
• Administration of drivers’ rotation on trucks by monitoring the orders process.
• Checking availability of the drivers/preparing work schedule.
• Monitoring the irregularities occurring during performing the transportation orders and reporting them according to the internal procedures to: Quality, Customer Service.
• Cooperation with other departments and employees in case of breakdown or liquidation of damages.
• Performing tasks and reports according to procedures and work rules.
• Inform the drivers concerning the developments of the organization.

Qualifications and knowledge

• Good Russian and Romanian language skills (writing/speaking/understanding). Communication skills in another foreign languages are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree is required, master’s degree is a benefit; Transport & Logistics is a plus.
• Experience of 2 years in similar position.
• Good level of Windows environment, MS office.
• Availability, readiness to travel abroad.
