Company Overview:
- Our client, a reputable company in the frozen bakery/pastry/dessert segment, representing major European producers in Romania.
- Extensive experience as an importer and distributor for 15 years.
- Ventured into production 5.5 years ago, currently constituting 40% of the company's revenue.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Growth Strategies:
- Drive accelerated development in production outputs through three main channels: IKA expansion, export development, and strengthening the Horeca channel.
- Expand IKA presence by penetrating new markets (e.g., Penny, Carrefour) and leveraging existing relationships (Kaufland, Mega Image, Metro, Selgros).
- Develop export markets in Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia, Macedonia, Hungary through partnerships, trade fairs, and network establishment.
- Strengthen Horeca channel by exploring new digital commerce avenues (Sezamo, Freshful), building B2B order platforms, and targeting KA Horeca clients.
Team Management and Collaboration:
- Supervise and support two Horeca teams (National and Bucuresti) comprising two managers and nine colleagues.
- Collaborate closely with the GM and other departments for seamless execution of strategies across channels.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven FMCG experience with a track record of successful development initiatives.
- Proficiency in category growth within IKA and a strategic vision for the Horeca segment.
- Drive and capability to elevate an already performing production rapidly.
- Experience in developing categories without significant brand presence or mandatory marketing budgets.
- Strong sales acumen with managerial abilities.
