FP&A Specialist
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
6 Month Contract
Location: Office based in Slough

Are you a commercially minded finance professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business in Slough as an FP&A Specialist, playing a key role in shaping financial decisions and driving business performance.

The Role
As the FP&A Specialist, you’ll be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, supporting strategic planning, and helping the business achieve its growth targets. Working closely with the senior leadership and finance teams, you’ll take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting – turning financial data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans
• Produce detailed variance analysis and commentary to explain performance trends
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making
• Partner with department heads to provide financial insights and challenge assumptions
• Support management with scenario planning and performance reviews
• Continually improve financial reporting processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency

About You:

• CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in an FP&A or commercial finance role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in financial modelling and data analysis
• Confident communicator, able to partner effectively across non-finance teams
• Experience using ERP or reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Power BI is advantageous
