My client is looking to recruit an import/export freight forwarder to join their friendly and energetic team. This role would be on a full time permanent basis based in Harlow and is paying up to £55,000 for someone with the right experience/background.

Requirements:

-3 years in similar roles

-Own base of customers

-Able to work under pressure

-Highly organised

-Good team player

Main responsibilities:

-Management of shipments

-Arranging freight pick ups

-Booking/arranging subcontractors

-Negotiating rates in a professional manner

-Tracking shipments

-Making sure that all relevant paperwork is in order

-Invoicing customer and providing quotes accordingly

-Make sure that revenue/profit guidelines are in line with budget requirements
