Job Description
For a 5* resort in Tuscany, we are looking for a
FRONT OFFICE MANAGER
Main Duties:
- Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager
- Manages the operations of the front office and related areas
- Develops and implements processes and procedures for assigned departments which support achievement of service and financial goals
- Prepares and analyzes reports in order to develop an informative database for decision making and to communicate upcoming business throughout the resort
- Ensures Front Office handles billing and cash in accordance with resort’s standards
- Plans and coordinates resort housing activities by working closely with Booking, F&B, Housekeeping and other departments
- Ensures Front Office complies with all resort policies and procedures
- Recruits and selects qualified candidates for the Front Office department
- Provides employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities
- Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
- Provides genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
- Acts as Duty Manager
Job Requirements:
- Experience in 5* large resorts/hotels in the Front Office department as manager/assistant manager
- Strong leadership, communication skills, initiative and teamwork
- High ability to solve complaints
- Customer orientation
- Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Preferential knowledge of German
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
