Our client is the most innovative software company in the database field, being a key solution for clients looking for high performance. The company's database is characterized by its linear scalability and high ingest speed, which makes it 7 to 10 times faster than other manufacturers on the market.

THE ROLE

As a Front-End Engineer, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs or parts for software enhancements and new products. You will be in charge of improving the company’s software to provide an intuitive, high-performing, and user-friendly interface and customer experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement highly reliable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Provide knowledgeable feedback on the technical feasibility and sustainability of interface features and designs in a shared enterprise systems environment.
• Collaborate with the core product’s stakeholders to provide the correct functionality based on user requirements.
• Serve as a principal interface designer for enterprise systems.
• Lead the development of designs and prototypes to solve basic to complex interface problems, as well as enhancements to enterprise systems interfaces.
• Build new features and improve the user experience through analysis of programmatic usage data and usability studies.
• Lead the development of recommendations for long-term, sustainable solutions to front-end development of enterprise systems.
• Ensure responsiveness of all pages/content across a wide variety of devices.
• Analyse, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products.
• Identify and experiment with tools, frameworks, and technologies that have the potential to improve the user experience with existing library platforms and services, or that have the potential to inspire future library initiatives.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience in front-end development
• Strong hands-on PHP experience
• Excellent abilities to hand-code responsive landing pages using HTML, CSS, React JS
• Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Photoshop/Figma (capable of converting PSDs to pixel-perfect HTML/CSS)
• Demonstrated knowledge of creative A/B testing, media formats and internet technologies
• Familiarity with version control software, such as GitHub
