THE PROJECT

My client is a fast-growing international biotech company researching and developing a new revolutionary technique to detect cancer that will help to monitor this illness without causing a high impact on patients.

The enterprise is an in-vitro diagnostics biotech company focused on early detection of cancer using leading edge technologies. The company is using the power of next-generation sequencing (NGS), epigenetic alterations, population-scale clinical studies, and state-of-the-art computer science and data science to enhance the scientific understanding of cancer biology, and to develop its multi-cancer early detection blood test.

THE ROLE

You will be working in a team environment to develop a front-end website architecture, designing user interactions on web pages. You will have to focus on writing reusable, testable, and efficient code &ensuring responsiveness of applications.

You will be participating on a project from the beginning until the finished product, meeting both technical and consumer needs. Your vision will also be heard in order to locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Your presence in this company will be enriching for your career as you will be working in the team of Scientists, Data Analysts, Front and Backend Developers in a collaborative way.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• +2 years of experience

• Advanced skills in Linux Command line and Git

• Attention and knowledge of UX/UI

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML and CSS

• Expert proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, Angular, and ReactJS

• Experience in using a complex REST API from the client side

• Best practices implementation to produce high performing/scalable/secured modules

• Attention to detail

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Excellent verbal and written English are a MUST

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar higher education

 Other valuable skills

• Familiarity with server-side languages such as NodeJS, R, or Python is highly valued

• Familiarity with database technology such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB

• Having some experience with Docker will be a plus

 • Familiarity with CI/CD
