Our client builds high-performance carbon capture and electrolysis technologies that convert carbon dioxide (CO2) into the world’s most widely used renewable feedstocks, fuels, and commodity chemicals.

II. Job General scope:
Our client is looking for a Senior Fuel Cell/ Electrolyzer stack Engineer - Capture and Utilization who in collaboration with our stack team, will be in charge of the end-to-end development of one of our electrolyzer stack products.
Commitment to the mission and ambition, Irreproachable work ethic, Innovative spirit and problem-solving attitude, Anticipation capabilities, Safety and security awareness, will be the key point to succeed.
This position reports to the CEO and Head of Stacks
III. Main achievements/Missions/Objectives:
- Designing new electrochemical stacks for our CO2 using CAD soft wares
- Dimensioning systems based on theoretical calculations and computational-aided simulations (manifolds, thermal exchangers, pumps, circulation loops)
- Exploring new flow field designs for our specific applications
- Co-leading innovative product design
- Leading the manufacturing planning/ordering and relation with suppliers
IV. Qualification requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on practical experience in mechanical engineer either through a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Master’s degree +
- Industrial Extension experience in mechanical design engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design (CAD)
- Solid theoretical knowledge fluid mechanics, thermal management, solid mechanics (compression, material resistance)
- Ideally knows gas handling/pressure drops and fluid mechanics.
- Experience in combustion engines or electrolyzer or fuel cells
