An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in all accounting transactions. They handle bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and support budgeting while ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. The role also assists in month-end closing, audits, and providing financial insights to help the company maintain strong financial control.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring Mapei accounting guidelines are followed
• Vendor master data
• Customer master data
• AP Invoice posting & GR/IR  
• Vendor & intercompany a/c reconciliation
• Marine Insurance Declarations
• Custom & Foreign Purchase reconciliations
• Cash Exp booking and payments
• GL & recurring exp posting
• Debit / credit note management
• Asset Accounting
• Providing Audit requirement
• Support Teamwork during vacations

Education and Qualification :

Education and Training:  

• Graduate in Finance and Accounting

Technical and professional knowledge:

• Any SOCPA certification is added advantage  

Work Experience:

• Min 2 years in similar position in Saudi Arabia   
• Experience working in a multinational company in SAP/ Dynamics 365 environment is added advantage

Language skills: Fluent in Arabic and English
