Our client is a company that activates in agribusiness and is looking for a General Manager.
General Manager
Your responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement the overall strategic plan aligning it with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to make informed business decisions.
- Implement innovative solutions to improve productivity and sustainability.
- Provide leadership and guidance to achieve organizational goals.
Operations Management:
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and the achievement of objectives set;
- Ensure the operative management of the executive structure in order to achieve the objectives;
- Improvement, development, implementation and application of procedures of general interest of the company, in order to streamline and improve the activity;
- Establish objectives and ways to measure the degree of their achievement;
- Conclude legal documents on behalf of the company and carry out commercial activities on its behalf;
- Active participation in projects implemented in society for their completion under approved conditions;
- Fulfillment and adoption of all measures for the achievement with maximum efficiency of the company's object of activity;
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Monitor and improve the financial performance of the company, including managing the company's budgets and resources;
- Implement cost-effective measures to improve profitability.
- Manage and implement EU-funded projects, knowing the related legislation;
Business Strategy:
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners and identify new business opportunities;
- Involvement in negotiating contracts that the company can conclude;
- Represent the company in relations with business partners;
Leadership:
- Promote the company's values and mission;
- Create a pleasant working environment that ensures the involvement and development of all employees;
- Develop and maintain a productive and collaborative work environment;
Your profile:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in agriculture, agribusiness management, business administration/management / agricultural/economic / legal / marketing;
- Progressive experience in agribusiness management, demonstrating a track record of success in the activity of top management of companies with an annual turnover of at least 5 million euros;
- Solid knowledge of financial planning and budget management;
- Knowledge related to primary and secondary legislation in the field of agriculture;
- Good knowledge of the agriculture sector and current trends at national and international level;
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, decision-making in difficult situations, reasoned support of one's own opinions;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Advanced knowledge of English;
- Strategic attitude, analytical and logical thinking;
