Purpose to the Role:

This role will be assisting Director Tech Ops in design, product development, engineering. The role will be responsible for leading functional teams and ensuring engineering projects are delivered within given cost & timelines and First time right.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key responsibility to ensure zero error in engineering output
Engineering, design and product modifications to meet customer requirements and provide guidance to subject matter experts to achieve the same
Identifying new technologies related to process equipment /machinery for Pharma industry
Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for engineering function
Providing technical inputs for Installation and maintenance of equipment, utilities etc.
Providing specifications during purchase stage for selection of equipment based on technology, equipment design, materials used etc.
Reviewing feedback from clients, conducting CAPA and making alterations according to the clients' needs
Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects
Supporting procurement function in developing local vendors for the spares to reduce the cost of repairs and maintenance and reduce cycle time in getting spares
Monitoring and keep track of product performance in a cGMP environment with objective to provide high degree of assurance in continuous operations.
Develop systems to encourage innovation and support development of new products
Provide guidance to the engineering team and maintain a system driven work culture in the function
Provide support to plant teams from perspective regulatory requirements related to engineering services
To maintain all documents related to engineering services in order and communicate effectively with regulatory authorities
Support Sales function in driving conceptualization of offerings
Must drive standardization

Desired Candidature:

20+ years of work experience in engineering function.
Business acumen and knowledge of pharma Industry is desirable
Innovative and creative approach
Validation and preparation of engineering documents
Knowledge of manufacturing process
Experience in standradization

Desired Soft skills:

Adept in working with people at different levels in organization
Experience in working in matrix structure
End result orientation
Communication skills
Eye for details
