Job Description

The General Manager will oversee the entire Bangladesh company and have full responsibility

for operation and all aspects of manufacturing such as Production, Quality, Warehouse, Plant

Maintenance and shall have dotted line responsibility of IR/ HR and SCM. He will lead and

develop the company and ensure its vision, mission and purpose to deliver high value products

to its customers in a socially responsible manner. The GM is a member of the global senior

management team reporting to Managing Director and is expected to know the aims and

objectives of the organization and contribute to its overall success.

More specifically the responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of

the board and shareholders. Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and

provide solutions to ensure company growth.

• Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by

planning cost-effective operations. Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are

communicated across the company and that they are followed.

• Communicate and maintain relationships with shareholders, business partners and

authorities in an ethical manner

• Maintain an effective workforce by leading and supervising the executive management

team. Provide guidance and motivation to achieve excellence. Assume full responsibility

across the site with its 500+ employees.

• Act as legal and public representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile.
