General Manager Cement Factory Modernisation - Central Asia based Tashkent or Almaty

The Job:

As the General Manager for Central Asia you will be responsible to manage existing modernisation projects and identify new business opportunities. Our client is one of the leading manufacturers and modernisation specialists when it comes to the Cement making proccess. They are usually being invited when a factory is not running at full capacity or the production proccess is too expensive. As their representative in the region you will be responsible for:

• Business development and indentifying new projects in the region of Central Asia
• Commercial proposal and contract signing
• Handling and Project Management of Greenfield and Modernisation projects
• Building the office and team from scratch
• Cooperation with HQ and other countries representatives
• GR at government and public level

The Person:

We are looking for a technical expert who has a good understanding of the proccess of making construction materials in particular the Cement industry. Ideally mechanical engineering education is background that will help to identify improvement opportunities at your clients factories. You are a strong communicator and will be able to deal with cultural differences.

English will be needed to effectively communicate with HQ and international colleagues
