The Client
Our client is a manufacturer of equipment for the Cement Making Industry. Currently they are only present through partners in the Central Asian region. As they have decided to more actively grow, they would like to hire a leader who is ready to start up their own operations in the region.
The Position
The successful candidate will be responsible to choose the location, partners and product range of equipment for developing the Central Asian market, this work will include:
- Identifying and finding new clients in the region
- Appointing partners and distributors to support the sales effort
- Organising efficient work of the team on the ground including the service function
- Close cooperation with the Europe based head quarter
- Team Management
- Administration and product certification
- Logistics and Supply chain issues
The Person
With a strong technical understanding, a well established network in the construction industry and well developed sales skills you have already worked in the region and have a track record of developing new clients from scratch. This requires the necessary knowledge of the cultural differences in the region. A compliant mind set as well as the ability to work independently will be very important to be successful in this position. Russian and English and ideally one of the regional local languages would be a big plus.
